Nunca Vayas Allí Otra Vez  (Gálatas 5:1-6)

By Chris Mueller | February 12, 2023

We are reminded of the intimacy we enjoy with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Church Leaders are O.D. (Philippians 1:1-2) Part 3

By Chris Mueller | October 5, 2015

What kind of model for “following Christ” are you? One of the most crucial issues in the life of any Christian is to have examples to follow. This is why the genuine Church has Holy Spirit appointed leaders. And in the very first verse of the letter to the Philippians, Paul uniquely refers to the spiritual leaders of this 10-year-old church, calling them “overseers and deacons.”

A Biblical View on Work

By Rod Shackelford | August 31, 2015

Most people will work at their jobs for more than 80,000 hours in their lifetime. That’s an amazing amount of time committed to one part of your life. God’s Word has a lot to say about our labor, our job and our work. Whether that’s at home taking care of four rug rats, being in an office behind a desk, on the roads or at a construction site, our God is concerned about how a Christian works.

So in this message, we will study God’s Word to discover God’s view of work, expose some misconceptions about work, highlight some major pitfalls Christians fall into about work, and, most importantly, uncover what a believer’s purpose is in the workplace and how we can be successful in it!

Church discipline–when you hear the words, what do you think of? It is God’s command to the Church to be holy and to deal with defiant sin. This message will unpack all that God’s Word says about the Church’s loving care and correction of itself.

Understanding God’s Love

By Nigel Shailer | August 10, 2015

The subject of Calvinism and Arminianism, and more particularly predestination, has much to do with the question, “Who does God love?” Does God love everyone in exactly the same way? Is God’s love always unconditional? Can God’s love be earned? Be careful–your answers could place you inside biblical evangelicalism or make you a heretic. Now let’s consider what God’s Word says.

Homosexuality: How Are We to Respond?

By John Pleasnick | August 3, 2015

Last week, we looked at different approaches to Biblical teaching on homosexuality. Some Christians have reinterpreted Scripture through experience to allow for homosexuality, the plain reading of Scripture is understood even by non-Christians. Homosexual behavior is sin, and opposes God’s clear design. How are we as Christians to respond? Many of you know someone–your homosexual neighbor, coworker, son or daughter? Maybe it’s you personally. Has He called you to singleness or sexual frustration? The Bible offers answers–learn how to respond with truth and grace.
