The Path to True Greatness (Mark 10:35-45)
What kind of life finishes well? It is radically different than what the world tells us. The world tells us to promote ourselves, to get the credit, to focus on ourselves, to be ambitious, to be confident and competitive. But the path to true spiritual greatness is something totally different, and our Lord spells it out with a radical, life-changing passage you must not miss.
The Commitment of Christ to Go to the Cross (Mark 10:32-34)
We are never more like God than when we give. The magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice will overpower us today. As Jesus travels to Jerusalem to serve in His final week, He reveals what awaits Him. Jesus knows every detail of the cross, and the indescribable agony of bearing God the Father’s holy wrath for our sin. And yet He resolutely walks toward this death.
Isaiah’s Vision of God (Isaiah 6:1-8)
Prepare to be amazed and humbled in the presence of our sovereign and holy God. We will see that our usefulness to God is directly related to how we view Him. Be ready to look over Isaiah’s shoulder and get a glimpse of the King of kings and Lord of lords. It will encourage you!
Why Has God Given Us SO Much? (1 Tim 6:17-19)
As a church and as individuals, we have much to be thankful for. In America, economically, our bottom 5% make about the same on average as the top 5% in India. There is no doubt that the cost of living is different, yet we are blessed beyond measure–nationally, regionally, as a church, and as individual people. Whether you are unemployed, still in school, or residing in a nursing home, you have much to be thankful for!

Who Can Do the Impossible? (Mark 10:28-31) Part 2
We will study Mark 10:28 to 31, part two of “God Who Can Do the Impossible”, as we focus on the Riches of Poverty, the abundant blessings and rewards of following Christ in this life, in the Kingdom and in Eternity.
Who Can Do the Impossible? (Mark 10:23-27)
In Mark 10:23 to 27, our Lord shocks his men by telling them how hard it is for a wealthy man to enter the Kingdom of God, and then tells them how hard it is for every person to become a Christ-follower. How hard? Jesus actually says it is impossible. Thankfully, God can do the impossible. This will be an astonishing look at our salvation, and an examination of what wealth can do to our hearts, and the ecstatic joy we have in being his children.
How to LOVE the religious? (Mark 10:17-22) Part 2
In Mark 10:17 to 22, Jesus meets up with the rich young ruler. We began to look at this encounter last week, but it is this Sunday where this meeting will rock your world. Our Lord will show us how to correctly share the Gospel, how to reach those who think they are saved but are not, show us the ingredients of the true Gospel, and so much more.
How to LOVE the religious? (Mark 10:17-22) Part 1
Get ready to be blown away as Jesus meets up with the rich young ruler. So much of our understanding of the Gospel is wrong today. So many of our evangelism practices are off-center. So many of us don’t realize the difference between a religionist and a true born again believer. But it will all become clear as we open up verses 17 to 22.
