Nunca Vayas Allí Otra Vez  (Gálatas 5:1-6)

By Chris Mueller | February 12, 2023

Getting to the Root Issue? Part 1 (Mark 2:1-12)

By Chris Mueller | January 8, 2012

Meet the paralytic who desires to be cured of his suffering, but discovers that it is his sin that desperately needs cleansing. This man has a bigger problem than his physical condition, and Jesus says to him, “I understand your suffering, and I will get to that, but your deepest problem is your sin.”

The Lenses That Change the Way You Live Life Part 2

By Chris Mueller | January 1, 2012

So much difficulty in our lives is the result of misunderstanding. So many churches are unhealthy because those truths the Lord emphasizes are not emphasized in the church, and so many Christians are unhealthy because those truths the Word emphasizes are not emphasized in their lives.

Do You Have Room For Christ; and Does Christ Have a Room For You?

By Chris Mueller | December 25, 2011

Some will think about Christ, but they will not bow before Him as a slave does to a master, nor as a creature does His Creator, or as a sinner does His Savior. The first century world was not looking expectantly for Christ when He came either.

The Lenses That Can Change the Way You Live Life

By Chris Mueller | December 18, 2011

We are often not aware of the lenses we look through in order to see life accurately. All of us battle with smudges, distortions, even cracks in how we see, which leads to trips, falls and fuzziness in living. We immerse ourselves in the Bible here because the Bible cleans our lens–the Bible lights our path.

The Desire For Cleansing (Mark 1:40-45)

By Chris Mueller | December 11, 2011

For those who are genuinely saved, every effort to get clean from sin on your own is worthless. The real need in our lives is not to be cleaned on the outside, but washed on the inside. In order to prove that He can wash us on the inside, our Lord Jesus often cleansed those who were dirty on the outside, and one of those healings wraps up Mark chapter 1 in verses 40 to 45

By Chris Mueller | December 4, 2011

Do you have problems with your time? I do. So what’s the answer? Focus on what’s important! Live by your priorities. And you will never guess who was the master at living by His priorities–anyone? Jesus Christ was a genius.

Christ’s Authority Over Sickness (Mark 1:29-31)

By Chris Mueller | November 27, 2011

Some of the greatest lessons learned in this life, much of our greatest growth, occur when we’re sick, infirmed or handicapped. God uses handicaps, weaknesses, limitations, and sicknesses in mighty ways in the lives of Christians to make them more like Christ, and to bring Him great glory.

The Authority of Christ’s Deeds (Mark 1:23-28)

By Chris Mueller | November 20, 2011

It is a confrontation in the synagogue between a demon-possessed man and the Son of God! The key to understanding this marvelous section is found in the statement in verse 22, “one having authority,” and verse 27, “a new teaching with authority.” Christ teaches with authority and commands the enemy with authority.
