Every time there was another form of persecution for Jesus–every time there was another suffering, another difficult event, no matter what, every single time, He would entrust Himself. Enduring Unjust Difficulty Pleases God (1 Pet 2:18-20)
Submission is a heart revealer. It can show what kind of heart you have. It may indicate that your heart has not been born again. Or it may expose areas that need to be brought under the Word of God by the Spirit of God and that process can be DIFFICULT and PAINFUL. But make no mistake, Submission is God’s Will. Christ submits to the Father – and we are to be like Christ and submit to God’s appointed authorities.

Though long in the church, Mark was convicted by his hypocrisy, repented and turned to Christ. Now Mark remains in awe over God’s grace in his life.
