Why People Do Not Fear God (Luke 12:4-5)

Transformed to Love (1 Pet 1:23-25)
Peter says, fervently love one another from the heart, which is a command to engage your will to sacrifice for others with an intense care that must come from the indwelling Holy Spirit. Now why should you love other Christians with this kind of intensity? Right now do you even care? You might be thinking, this doesn’t relate to me. If you never had a child, don’t have a parent or spouse, never developed a friend, don’t have to deal with a rival, or even meet a stranger, then this isn’t speaking to you.
The Passionate Choice To Love the Church (1 Pet 1:22)
If brought to trial, is there enough evidence to convict you of love? Peter is not talking about your biological family, or merely the two Christian friends you have in this church or your clique. Do you love the people of this church? Really love them? Not merely the ones who “never get enough attention all about them,” but do you love the ones who never ask for anything?
