— LAST SUNDAY'S SERMON —
Christ will remind us of The Rock of Assurance we all need. Christ will teach us the only way to survive the storms of life and the final storm of judgement is to build our lives upon the solid ROCK of Christ as our only foundation. May we all be able to sing and proclaim together: “On Christ, the solid rock, I stand!”
Drinking and Drunkenness (Eph 5:18a )
Paul calls the Corinthians to a proper focus–that whether we drink wine or don’t drink wine, whether we eat meat sacrificed to idols or don’t eat meat sacrificed to idols, that all we do, we do to the glory of God.
Carpe Diem: Seize the Day! (Eph 5:15-17 )
God says, “Christian, seize the day, make it count–don’t waste your life, be a difference-maker, time is short, so get on it!”
Living Light (Eph 5:7-14 )
The non-Christian lives in the dark and is dark–the Christian lives in the light and is light, and God illumines us.

Decoys (Eph 5:5-7)
We Christians have a very clever enemy, and I believe our enemy is using the tactic of using decoys in his fight against the Church of Jesus Christ today.
Imposters: Certain Indicators of Lostness (Eph 5:5-7)
Imposters are all around us, and sadly many are in the church–people who’ve made decisions, walked aisles, and prayed prayers.
The Worst Talk (Eph 5:4)
Do you feel the huge weight of the things you say? Have you come to a righteous fear about normal conversation? What you say after church, at lunch, at home, in the car really does matter to God.
Bad Behavior (Eph 5:3)
If someone accused you of verse 3 behavior, Paul’s goal is to have all who know you well say, “No way!”
Imitation (Eph 5:1-2)
Children imitate their parents, and God’s children are to imitate their heavenly Father. We are never too old to imitate a model–all of us want someone to say to us, “Follow me and I will show you the way.” Today, our Lord Jesus is putting His arm around you prodding you to follow Him to imitate God.
