The Terror of the Great Tribulation (Mark 13:19-23)
The study of the Great Tribulation in preparation for the Second Coming of Christ shows us not only God’s wrath, but our God will still be expressing His great mercy toward His elect. You will learn about election, and your hearts will be prepared for the coming of Christ.
The Most Alarming Signal (Mark 13:14-18)
In His love for His children, the Lord Jesus warns His people living during the Tribulation, telling them what will happen, and alerting them to run for their lives. The middle of the Tribulation is our study for this message from Mark 13:14 to 18, and what is coming is unbelievable.
Teaching Your Child Self-Control (Moms By Grace – Nov 2014)

A Great Purpose for Great Persecution (Mark 13:9-13)
The most difficult persecution to hit believers on planet Earth will be described in this passage. Jesus warns His people in Mark 13:9-13 of what is about to happen. But even in this, our God has a glorious purpose, allowing His true children to be an incredible witness of who Christ is and what Christ has done. He tells believers not to worry, speak what the Spirit tells them to speak, accept the incredible difficulty of family betrayal and universal hatred, and focus on God’s promise.
Birthpangs: the signs of the coming future (Mark 13:5-8) Part 2
We continue through Mark 13 with verses 7 to 9, and the good news for the Church is the rapture–God will snatch His Bride home to be with Him forever. Some think it will be in the middle of the Tribulation, others just before the final outpouring of God’s wrath, still others right at the end–but we believe it will be before the Tribulation. Find out why in this message, and get ready for your future!
Birthpangs: the signs of the coming future (Mark 13:5-6) Part 1
Are the eschatological birthpangs intensifying, bringing us closer to the final end? The first sign is religious deception. False doctrine is commonly embraced. More claim the authority of Christ. Major religions like Islam might be a major prelude to the deception of the end times–we may be closer than you think.
The Timing of the End (Mark 13:4)
Imagine living in the first century and having to describe a copy machine, or an iPhone. How limited are we in our understanding because we are bound by time and God is not? In this message, we are back in Mark 13:4 with the Olivet Discourse, this time exposing the timing of the end times, exposing from the Word why eschatology is such a difficult theology to understand, and then exposing which system of eschatology is the correct one and why.
Discipline and Parental Authority (Moms By Grace – Oct 2014)
Teaching for young moms, taught by Tracy Dodson.
Destruction is Coming (Mark 13:1-4)
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?” (Mark 13:4) Wouldn’t you love to know the future? Jesus said destruction would come, but when? Will it really be the end of the world, as we know it? What was Jesus saying? Listen to find out!
Wayward Students: Part 2
What do you do when one of the students in your home, your granddaughter, your best friend’s child, your “used to be walking with Christ” friend at school, or your girlfriend at youth group turns their back on Christ, walks away from the youth group, folds their arms at church, staring off in space with a scowl during worship as a defiant statement (because their parents make them come to church each week)? What if they say, “I no longer want Christ”? What do you do then? This message is for every Christian, as God desires all believers to impact others for Christ.
Wayward Students: Part 1
It has broken our hearts. Disobedience hurts, rebellion stings but rejecting Christ is absolutely agonizing, and churches–not merely FBC, but other healthy churches are also facing this pain in an ever increasing way. What is happening with our students…why are they not merely battling with obedience to the Word of God, but actually defiantly rejecting the Gospel and the faith of their parents who love them? This week and next, we will examine what the Bible has to teach on wayward children–the hopeful prevention and the helpful pursuit. No matter who you are, you will find this two-week series helpful if you have friends or family who continue to reject the Gospel.
